About LiveNote
LiveNote is a notepad with one obsession: the moment you want to share a thought, nothing should stand between typing it and sending it.
Why we built it
Sharing a draft usually means exporting a file, attaching it, and realizing ten minutes later that the file is already out of date. LiveNote collapses that loop: your page has a URL from the second it exists, and everyone who opens that URL sees the page as it is — live, not as a snapshot from last Tuesday.
The product is deliberately small. No projects, no workspaces, no onboarding wizard. A page, a link, and the people you send it to.
What we optimize for
Speed to first word
One click from a blank tab to a cursor on a fresh page. No account, no wizard, no waiting.
Alive, not archived
Notes that update in front of everyone reading them, with history behind them so nothing is lost.
Privacy by architecture
End-to-end encryption happens in your browser, so a sealed note is unreadable to the server storing it.
How it works, plainly
LiveNote runs as a web app — nothing to install. When you create a note you get a unique link. Send that link to anyone and they can read (and, if you allow it, edit) alongside you in real time. You never need an account; accounts are optional, and exist to keep your notes organized across devices.
For anything sensitive, protect the note: gate it with a password, or turn on end-to-end encryption, which seals the content in your browser before it ever travels. The details are in the privacy policy.
Who is behind it
LiveNote is built and operated by an independent developer and hosted at piratebots.in. There is no venture funding, no data-hungry parent company, and no business model that depends on reading your notes. Questions and feedback are welcome on the contact page.
